Continuation after successful premiere. Eckert Schools International launch their next online training program for Chinese College

Already at the end of last year, the Eckert Schools International team designed their first train-the-trainer program on the German dual VET which was held 100% online. Following the impressive success of the four-week-course, Eckert Schools International has now got green light for their second online course, which will again be held jointly with the CHONGQING Vocational Institute of Engineering from China. Managing director and principal Markus Johannes Zimmermann had recently signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding with the college from the metropolis of Chongqing.

From mid-May to mid-June, the participants will receive further training from Eckert Schools International experts in a total of 80 teaching units. In addition to gaining an insight into the German VET, they will also receive a valuable spur on current trends in smart production as well as Industry 4.0 in practical training sessions.

The course consists of 56 hours of online instruction by German experts as well as 24 hours of discussion and project work jointly planned and organized by Eckert Schools International and the CHONGQING Vocational Institute of Engineering. In the final project work, the participants will work in groups on tasks related to the development of action-oriented teaching in the field of Smart Production and Industrie 4.0 and present them. After a successful completion, participants will receive a recognized certificate as "Professional Trainer International" from the IHK Academy (Chamber of Industry and Commerce).

For Eckert Schools International and the CHONGQING Vocational Institute of Engineering, the online course is the next milestone in their successful cooperation, which the two principals  underpinned last year by signing a comprehensive memorandum of understanding and which will be even further intensified in the future.

The Vice President of the CHONGQING Vocational Institute of Engineering, Mr. Tang Jihong, also emphasized in his welcoming speech that the technical and pedagogical exchange between the two educational institutions is to be further expanded and consolidated.

Currently, the "Overseas College of 5G Communication Technology", a joint project of the CHONGQING Vocational Institute of Engineering, HUAWEI Germany and Eckert Schools International, is being planned.
