Eckert Schools International: Training Expertise in China

Regenstauf/China – During October and November 2024, three education experts from Eckert Schools International completed a series of intensive hands-on training sessions in China. This collaboration with Xuzhou Construction Technician College, which began in May 2023, aims to introduce the German dual training model for industrial mechanics to “Sino-German classes” at Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technician College.

The goal of the partnership is to implement German educational standards, curricula, and training methods for industrial mechanics. Eckert Schools International supports three cooperative classes with on-site training from German experts and ongoing project guidance. Upon completion, students in the Sino-German classes will earn an “Industrial Mechanic” certificate from Eckert Schools International, a partner of the IHK Academy.

Mr. Schober, an education expert with Eckert Schools International, conducted classes at Xuzhou Construction Technician College from October 12 to October 27, 2024. He led two Sino-German classes through training in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electropneumatics.

Mr. Gernot Spelsberg, another Eckert Schools expert, visited Xuzhou Technician College from October 8 to November 7, 2024. He taught three classes across different year groups in the field of electrical engineering, focusing on automation technology. His training covered both theoretical and practical elements, helping students prepare for German-standard final examinations.

Mr. Andreas Fischer, an expert in tool mechanics and CNC technology, taught at the Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technician from October 13 to November 9, 2024. He spent five training days with each of the four classes, covering theory and practical skills, as well as preparation for the German final exams.

Throughout the training sessions, students engaged actively in the lessons, working closely with the Eckert Schools experts. Their questions were answered comprehensively, and they contributed to shaping the lesson dynamics, fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment.
