Signing of a cooperation agreement for the training measure for industrial mechanics in Xuzhou / China

Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College/China and Eckert Schools International sign cooperation agreement for the training measure Industrial Mechanic.

 

On 18th of July 2023 Ms. Feng Yuehong (party chief and principal of the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College) and Mr. Markus Johannes Zimmermann (managing director and principal of the Dr. Eckert Academy) signed a cooperation agreement on the training measure industrial mechanic. The Yantang Bildungsberatung GmbH, which was represented at the online signing ceremony by Mr. Zhang Hao (managing director in Germany) is also involved in the project.

The main goal of the cooperation is to introduce the concept for the training of skilled workers, the educational standard, the curricula, the teaching contents and methods of the German dual training in the profession of industrial mechanic in Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College for the "Sino-German classes".

The Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College is one of the best technical vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province and is strongly interested in acting as a role model college in the introduction of German cooperation projects in vocational education and training, thus raising its profile in Jiangsu and China.

Based on the Chinese framework curriculum and the existing subjects and facilities at the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College and in connection with the introduction of the German training framework, Sino-German classes are being set up in the field of industrial mechanics in which the jointly developed curriculum is being implemented. Eckert Schools International adopts the agreed training content of the curriculum. Each semester they educate German instructors. An examination according to German standards is conducted for each learning content and each semester by Eckert Schools International at the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College in China.  After successful completion, the participants of the Sino-German classes receive an "Industrial Mechanic" certificate from Eckert Schools International as an educational partner of the IHK Academy.

In June 2023, Mr. Andreas Fischer visited the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College as an expert of Eckert Schools International in the field of metal training. Mr. Fischer was able to obtain comprehensive information about the implementation of training in the profession of industrial mechanic and the training equipment of the Xuzhou Construction Machinery Technican College on site. In addition, Mr. Fischer discussed the concrete implementation of the first training phase by German experts with Chinese teachers in Xuzhou.
