The electrical industry is constantly experiencing innovations in structure, production and processes and presents workers in this industry with a steady stream of new challenges. The German Industrial Master Craftsman International, specialisation electrical engineering, is needed in industrial companies as well as in companies in the electronics industry, power industry and companies involved in the manufacture of machines, tools and automobiles. This international course of study provides the skills and knowledge required to work as a leading specialist in the areas of production, maintenance, power supply as well as in companies involved in the manufacture of machines, tools and automobiles. Graduates of this program are in high demand world wide because they promise the advantages of German know-how and quality control.

Prerequisites
Language prerequisite
Depending on the agreement, the course can be carried out in German or English. Participants must have at least level B1 in the relevant language.
Interdisciplinary basic qualification
- Successful completion of a relevant course of vocational training
- Or successful completion of a different course of vocational training followed by two years of work experience
- Or at least four years of work experience
Specific operational qualification
- Successfully completion of the course section “Interdisciplinary basic qualification” in the last five years and
- An additional year of work experience above and beyond the requirements named above.
